Getting started

How long until the site is ready?

The prototype is ready a few working days after your content is complete in the portal. What usually takes longest is gathering the texts and photos, and that is up to you. Once you approve the prototype, the site goes live.

What do I need to give you?

Your company details, how customers reach you (phone, address, hours), a few sentences about what you do, photos, and a logo if you have one. For a shop: the products with price and photo. Everything goes into the portal, step by step.

I have no texts and no good photos. What now?

Write in your own words, even briefly: we arrange them on the page. Phone photos are usually better than pictures from the internet, because they show your business. If you like, we can write the texts as an extra.

Do I need to know anything technical?

No. You fill in fields in the portal, like a form. Hosting, security and updates are our job.

I already have a domain or an old site.

We use the domain you have, and it stays in your name. We redirect the old site addresses to the new ones at no charge, and take over what is usable from its content.

The portal: you upload the content step by step here, and ask for changes.

The monthly fee

What do I pay monthly, and what do I get?

Hosting and the security certificate, daily backup, security updates, monitoring of the site and a number of small changes a month: 2, 4 or 8, by package. On top of that, you pay the setup once.

What counts as a small change?

What can be done on a screen that already exists: changing a text, a photo, a price, the hours, adding a product, replacing a legal text. Unused changes do not carry over to the next month.

What is not in the monthly fee?

A new page or feature, design, texts written by us, photography, connections to other software, and SEO. For these you get a separate fixed-price quote, not an hourly rate.

Can I pay yearly?

Yes. The yearly fee is 10 months instead of 12. Prices on the page exclude VAT.

Google and SEO

Will my site show up on Google?

We build it so Google can read it correctly: speed, sitemap, structured data, titles and descriptions. That does not put it at the top when someone searches for what you sell. That takes content and SEO, and results come in months, not days.

Why is SEO not in the subscription?

Because the site has an end, and SEO does not. The quality of the site shows at a glance; the effect of SEO only shows over time, measured. Inside the subscription we would either do too little or it would cost unpredictably.

Do you guarantee the top spot on Google?

No, and nobody can honestly guarantee it. We promise the work, monthly measurement and an honest report, also when the news is not good.

Your site, by package: before you approve it, you see it on a closed preview address.

Requests after launch

How do I ask for a change or something new?

In the portal, or simply by e-mail: every request gets its own thread, with its ID in the e-mail subject, and it shows in the portal too. A small change (text, picture, price, opening hours, a new product) is done from the monthly allowance.

What happens with a bigger request?

You get a quote: what we do, how much, by when. You can accept, ask or decline. For paid work you pay by card in the portal or by pro forma invoice, and then the work starts.

How do I know where it stands?

In the request thread, in the portal. If we need an answer from you, you get a follow-up question in the portal and by e-mail; your answer goes into the same thread.

What if it is not what I asked for?

At handover you check and approve it, or send it back for correction, saying what is not right. If the correction is a new requirement compared to the original request, we tell you and, if needed, give you a quote.

Contract, payment, data

What do I sign?

A subscription contract: you rent the site, the code stays ours, and the content, brand, domain and data are yours. The first page states the three things you also tick in the quote. You can cancel any time, with notice.

What happens if I do not pay?

You get the invoice, a reminder after 7 days and a warning after 14. After 21 days the site stops, with a polite page, not an error. We keep your data for another 90 days.

What do I get if I leave?

A package with the database, the uploaded files, the invoices, the content as text and a static HTML version of the site you can hand to another developer. The platform code is not part of it.

Whose name is the domain in?

Always yours, even if we manage it. That way you depend on no one.

Do you do e-mail?

We do not host e-mail: it is a trade of its own. We recommend Google Workspace or similar, and we set the DNS records so the mail arrives.

Where does the server run?

In the European Union, in Romania. The backups are kept with another provider.

What about GDPR?

For your site's customers you are the data controller and we are the processor, with a separate processing agreement. The quote form keeps a record of what the visitor read.

The quote form takes two minutes: package, add-ons, your company details. You see the price at once, and it commits you to nothing.
